Aardvark Letterpress Editions (ALE) is a partnership between Thomas Solomon and Aardvark Letterpress. Aardvark Letterpress is a family-owned business in Los Angeles run by Luis Ocon and his sons, Brooks and Cary. Established in 1968, Aardvark Letterpress has been providing traditional and innovative letterpress services for clients both local and international for 25 years.
Solomon and the Ocon family have combined their expertise and skills to provide a resource for appropriate artists and produce a series of innovative new editions. ALE explores exciting artistic visions by working with artists and expanding the medium of letterpress printing beyond traditional conventions, using 600-year-old technology in very contemporary ways. These letterpress editions are available for sale to major private and public United States and International collections.
